We also visited some areas that were destroyed by the war. If you missed the pictures and videos you can <a href=\"https:\/\/sukofamily.org\/bombed-and-abandoned-buildings-in-slavyansk-ukraine-photos-video\/\">find them here.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Pray for Christina and the kids as they make the final push to finish our home school year.<\/li>\n<li>Pray for me at the leadership of our church as we deal with some false teaching issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Is the Social Gospel Really Gospel?<\/h3>\n<p>In general the social Gospel focuses more on solving the problems of contemporary society such as poverty, homelessness, hunger, and lack of education.<\/p>\n<p>This approach to the gospel was popularized around a hundred years ago by Walter Rauschenbusch who is quoted as saying that the Kingdom of God &#8220;is not a matter of getting individuals to heaven, but of transforming the life on earth into the harmony of heaven.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Social Gospel is based on texts like Isaiah 58:6-12 and Matthew 25:31-40.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em><span class=\"s2\"><b>34<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0\u00a0Then the King shall say to those on His right <\/span><span class=\"s3\">hand<\/span><span class=\"s1\">, Come, blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from <\/span><span class=\"s3\">the<\/span><span class=\"s1\"> foundation of <\/span><span class=\"s3\">the<\/span><span class=\"s1\"> world.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>35<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0\u00a0For I was hungry, and you gave me food; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you took Me in;\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>36<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0\u00a0I was naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>37<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0\u00a0Then the righteous shall answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry, and fed <\/span><span class=\"s3\">You<\/span><span class=\"s1\">?
