<\/a><\/p>\nFor most in the Western world, standing in line for hours just for a loaf of bread is not an experience we can sympathize with. We tend to be more frustrated with rush-hour traffic as we sit in our air-conditioned car listening to our favorite music.<\/p>\n
And when it comes to food, we’re not nearly concerned about where to find the next meal as we are about what we might find in the next meal!<\/p>\n
No, gluten, corn-sugar, GMO’s, or MSG’s please!<\/p>\n
No, it’s not wrong to eat gluten-free or and you shouldn’t feel guilty if you do. However, we need perspective, we need to remember what is important and what is not. Unfortunately, the\u00a0more affluent our lives become the more we tend to place high value on the nonessential and unsubstantial things in life.<\/p>\n
Misplaced values will always mislead you!<\/p>\n
What do you value? Is it essential?<\/p>\n
This video is more than a good lesson for us on values, it’s also a reminder to pray and to help as we are able those in need.<\/p>\n
Our church here in Odessa, Ukraine will celebrate Easter this coming Sunday, April 12th. We have decided not to celebrate alone. Instead we invited a bus full of refugees from a nearby refugee camp to join us.<\/p>\n
We are setting up outside, so please pray for good weather. We expect about 350 people to attend, including church members. The program will include music, games for kids and the gospel message.<\/p>\n
We will also be feeding everyone!<\/p>\n
So if you can pray for our church please let me know. It’s a big project and we need your support.<\/p>\n
We desire to do much more than feed these refugees but also to show them the love of Christ.<\/p>\n
