Today our church is remembering Pastor Peter Rodoslavov who died just over a year ago. \u00a0He was a humble servant of God and as a result God used him as a preacher, pastor and evangelist. \u00a0I personally am one of literally thousands who were impacted by his ministry.<\/p>\n

Peter was born in 1958 in the USSR in the city of Odessa.<\/p>\n

He was baptized at the age of 16.<\/p>\n

1976-1978 he served in the Soviet army in the city of Leningrad.<\/p>\n

After serving in the army he started serving as youth leader in the church.<\/p>\n

In 1980 he was married to Tamara Ivanovna.<\/p>\n

In\u00a01985 he was ordained as an evangelist in Odessa’s Peresipskaya church. Since 1987 he worked in many churches of the brotherhood of Evangelical Christian Baptists.<\/p>\n

In the early 1990s he participated in and developed various ministries in Odessa’s Peresiplskaya church:<\/p>\n

Christian school, printing of the church magazine “Living Steam”, planting of new churches in Odessa and the Odessa region and in other areas.<\/p>\n

2003-2009 – Representative for the All Ukraine Association of Evangelical Baptists.<\/p>\n

In 2005 He began planting a new church “Hope for People” with a team from Peresipskaya church.<\/p>\n

2010 marked 25 years of ministry as a pastor and evangelist. He often said that you need to be more than a pastor, you need to be a pastor\/father. That is who he was.<\/p>\n

God blessed him with a big family. He and his wife Tamara Ivanovich had 8 children.<\/p>\n

In 2010 he was diagnosed with cancer. For 1.5 years with great pain he fought the disease.<\/p>\n
