{"id":3928,"date":"2014-05-07T09:01:57","date_gmt":"2014-05-07T06:01:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sukofamily.org\/?p=3928"},"modified":"2014-05-07T09:01:57","modified_gmt":"2014-05-07T06:01:57","slug":"violence-will-continue-in-ukraine-until-this-happens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sukofamily.org\/violence-will-continue-in-ukraine-until-this-happens\/","title":{"rendered":"Violence Will Continue in Ukraine until This Happens!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The death of 46 people which occurred in Odessa, Ukraine this past Friday as a result of conflicts between pro-Russian and pro-Ukrainian groups served only to widen the gap of hatred, fear and resentment that has been growing steadily over the past few months.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JAVscdqjBqI?rel=0\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In the video above I share a little overview of what happened in Odessa on May 2nd. If you want to read a more detailed description of the events that led to the death of 46 people check out <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-europe-27275383\" target=\"_blank\">this story.<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>This isn&#8217;t victory yet.<\/h4>\n<p>Many Ukrainians celebrated their victory far too early when former president Victor Yanukovych was removed from office by Ukrainian parliament on February 22nd.<\/p>\n<p>I wrote about this just a few days later in a post titled <a href=\"https:\/\/sukofamily.org\/this-isnt-victory-yet-a-call-for-reconciliation-in-ukraine\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;This isn&#8217;t Victory Yet, a Call for Reconciliation in Ukraine&#8221;<\/a><br \/>\nIn that post I wrote:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"color: #666666;\">But is this victory? Most of the pro-Ukrainians who were preparing to march for the unity of Ukraine on Friday were probably native Russian speakers.
