May Christ not only be at the center of your Christmas celebration but may he also be at the center of your 2014!<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jlBW-brM-pM\" height=\"360\" width=\"640\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nLast night I had the privilege of reading a Christmas poem at Discovery Baptist&#8217;s Christmas Eve service. I want to share with you a short section of that poem below.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Word became flesh and made its dwelling among us<\/p>\n<p>How can it be?<\/p>\n<p>The Creator God becoming part of his creation?<\/p>\n<p>Willingly limiting his power through the incarnation?<\/p>\n<p>He even came as a child fully dependent upon his mother<\/p>\n<p>And his life wouldn&#8217;t be easy, he was born to suffer<\/p>\n<p>Our finite minds struggle to span the gap<\/p>\n<p>How could God be born in a stable out back!<\/p>\n<p>We might not comprehend the depths of this plan<\/p>\n<p>We might fail to completely understand how God could be man<\/p>\n<p>But, believe it we will!<\/p>\n<p>Because there&#8217;s truth in this story<\/p>\n<p>And for those who believe<\/p>\n<p>We have seen his glory<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Thank you for your prayers, love and support in 2013!<\/p>\n<p>May 2014 bring even more opportunities to serve our God and share the wonderful message of Jesus with many!<\/p>\n<p>Merry Christmas!<br \/>\nCaleb, Christina and the kids<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Christina and I want to wish you and your family a very merry Christmas.
