I have to say “thank you!”‘ to \u00a0all who were praying for us this past weekend. \u00a0Misha and I traveled to the city of Nickolaev, about 2 hours from Odessa. \u00a0We were invited to share the Good Soil evangelism and discipleship seminar with a group of church leaders from the region.<\/p>\n

We had over 25 church leaders show up for the seminar in Nickolaev<\/p><\/div>\n

We were expecting about 20 but ended up with nearly 30 pastors at the seminar. We began on Friday night and continued until lunch on Saturday. \u00a0These men represent about 15 different churches in the Nickolaev region.<\/p>\n

Thanks to all who were praying for me as I helped lead the seminar<\/p><\/div>\n

It’s always a privilege to share with men who are working hard in their local churches preaching and teaching about Jesus!\u00a0I shared with the men that Nickolaev is a special city for our family because my wife, Christina, was born in Nickolaev.<\/p>\n

As a result of this seminar they have already asked us to come back to do another seminar for church members.<\/p>\n

Pastor Nickolai, Misha, myself and Pastor Alexsander<\/p><\/div>\n

Pastor Nickolai is responsible for all the churches in the Nickolaev region. I appreciated the way he encouraged the other pastors to boldly preach the gospel.<\/p>\n

Pastor Alexander graciously opened his church for our seminar. \u00a0He asked that we would pray for the leadership team in this church and that he would be able to find a replacement for himself as he will soon be retiring.<\/p>\n
